Tuck Everlasting

By Natalie Babbitt
6/6

Intro - Why I chose this book
Last summer, I joined a writing program in Summer Camp Programme. We did tons of projects. On one of the projects, we got to choose a book, read it, and make a presentation about the book. I didn't choose Tuck Everlasting because the cover looked boring. But later, when it came to the presentation, I heard the summary and I knew the book was for me, because I am very interested in fantasies. From that time on, I wanted to read that book all summer. I went to the book store, but there were no Tuck Everlasting. So, you might understand how I felt when I saw Tuck Everlasting on the list for Grade 6 fluent readers.

Par 1. Summary

This is about a family of Tuck and a girl called Winnie. There are 4 members in Tucks' family. Angus, whose younger brother is Jesse, Mom, Mae, and Dad, Miles. The Tuck's family accidently drank the water that they never grow old. One day, when Jesse was drinking the water, Winnie Foster saw him and he told Winnie the truth. That's not the end. I want to tell you, but I can't. I don't want to ruin it for you and I want to keep this book mysterious.

Par 2. Reflection

I really, really like this book because this is a fantasy book. And I like it because I really wanted to live without dying, but after reading this book, I learned that it's not always good to live forever. And the story plot's quite amazing too. Also, it has some suspense and mystery in it.
