Dish - Sweet-and-Sour Summer

by Diane Muldrow
6/6
This is a story about 2 twins who love to cook. One day, they got bored of take-aways and tried to make dinner themselves. After that, they went to cooking classes with their friends, Peichi, Shawn, and Natasha, and after that, they made a cooking business. They were once on a TV show! Since the cooking business had started, it's been 1 year, and another summer vacation came. Last summer, they had nothing to do, but this summer, it was different. Peichi went to China, Shawn goes to a cheerleading camp, and Natasha goes to Paris. The twins thought they would be together for this summer but they were wrong. Amanda went to the drama boarding school. Molly, who had nothing to do, planned to babysit 2 young children in the shore. When she was doing this, Amanda's crush, Justin, was also there because of his brother's job. They hung out a lot, and it was for certain that Justin had a crush on Molly. What will happen next? Will Molly tell Amanda what she knows?
I like this book especially among all the other stories, because there's a lot of stories going on - Peichi's, Shawn's, Amanda's, Natasha's, and Molly's. But every book of the dish is very good. I think you should read the first one because although ou can still get it, you don't know the details. I recommend this book to 4th to 6th graders.
